http://www.freeantennas.com/projects/template/index.html has been signaled on CookieCantenna . The proposed home-made parabole looks more like a 'rounded corner' than like a cantenna.

Osiris Responds: That is true. The template is just a small linear locus parabolic reflector. Posted link on CookieCantenna will be removed. I did not post it. I have used the template to make something similar to this trough reflector by constructing a dipole on the end of the coax, though I did add a quater wave balun. I feel that construct was very similar in performance to the reflector shown here.
