Suspicious Van

The van was a newer smaller van like a Caravan or something. I came upon
them when just leaving my block and saw the giant glowing LCDs from the
rear-the windows were not tinted in the rear. Then I noticed all the
antennas. most of them only about 5" tall, a couple maybe 14". Mostly
straight wire antennas (no loading).

I was just kidding about the Feds. Hopefully they would be more discrete,
and doubtfully they have that kind of budget for local recon, also fed/cop
vehicles are usually clean. This van was in need of a wash.

Also doubtful it would be war-drivers/hackers/kids because of budgetary
reasons. Most likely Microsoft or someone doing some mapping or something.

I was just curious if anyone else had seen something like this as they stuck
out like a sore thumb even after dark.

I saw a suspicious van hauling ass through my dead end street last night.

It was Green and had fake wood panels on the sides... last three of license
plate xxx-TOY (Washington)

Also had many many antennas on the roof (like 15 or so--all mag mount omnis
mostly small) and, two flat panel ~19" lcd monitors mounted for viewing in
the back seat. There was a guy sitting in the back seat tending the
equipment, and the driver (not sure about a third possible passenger) in the

front. If they were mapping they were hauling ass to do it... 40mph down
the side streets. I had to try hard to keep up so I could get more of a
glimpse of what they were up to...

Any thoughts or are the feds after me????
