UW Wireless

I’m thinking about more than 100,000 people in the area that do have UW
accounts, myself included, that might be able to use an open network (swn)
to get to their UW account & internet.
In other words, I’m just another person sick of paying Comcast and would
like to figure a better (cheaper) way…

Is anyone able to pick up University of Washington signals off-campus???
If so, where are you and what do you use?

About anything within a block or two radius of some of the higher access
points near the Medical Center or along 15th Ave NE but to access the
Internet port 80 is intercepted and a university account (UWNetID) is
required.

Are you saying, other ports are served without the UW ID?
Thanks,

peter kirk park, the pool, around the marina, they are
getting the bugs out of it.
