WRT54G: make the switch work as a hub?

Yes, I want this functionality for sniffing other computers. 
Somewhere on the net I came across one guy who complained that
his WRT54G worked as hub and he didn't like it.

I just wander if there is a way to force the switch into the
learning phase, so that packets get broadcasted.
