includes testimony from Esme Vos of MuniWireless.com and Greg Richardson of
Civitium.com

To see activists concerns which discuss issues like:

+Interference on unlicensed spectrum
+no explaination on how the system will provide 90% indoor coverage for all
citizens - this is a big problem.
+concerns about providing a service funded in part on the privacy of
citizens
+300k speed is a joke even in Africa
+Fiber study continues to be 4 months out (it seems to be 4 months out at
every meeting)
+no funding for digital inclusion
+no needs analysis, no business case, no Radio Frequency Study - (Civitium
now says one will be completed in the next few weeks) - yet a vendor
Earthlink/Google has already been selected
+is this similar to Amazon.com offering to outsource city libraries in
exhange for access to checkout records and profits to a corporation outside
the city?
+no serious consideration of a Municipally owned solution
+no consideration of creating a Disaster Tolerant solution to allow the
public to communicate after a calamity
