Verizon DSL question

I have Verizon DSL service.  I have a need to use this phone line for
remote modem access into servers.  What I am running into is: I have to
unplug the DSL modem to have a clean line for my remote access needs.  I
installed there "2wire dsl filters" but this does not suppress the line
noise which causing interference and unsuccessful remote logon access.  I
tried Verizon's on-line "chat" but they did not offer any resolve on my
issue.

Is there a filter that would work for my needs or just have to get use to
the routine of ununplugginghe DSL modem while I need to work?
