bonding wifi using dhcp

I've tried searching the archives on this without much luck, but
somebody must already be doing this --
I've got a box running debian with two pcmcia wifi nics (seano)
and using the hostap drivers. They get their ip with dhcp from
different AP's and I want to bond them. When I try to ifenslave them
however, it kills the connections. I can then run dhclient for bond0
and get an ip but it only seems to be doing it for one of the cards.
That is, I get the same IP I had for one of the cards then assigned
bond0 and it
does work, but nothing for the other one.
Is there a way to bond two wifi nics and still have them attaching
to the remote AP's? I have no access to the remote AP's, so I can't
set the cards as static, and I'd prefer to have them set as "managed" with
an essid of "any".
I could do this using three computers, with the first two having
one wifi nic and one static ethernet nic which connected to static
ethernet nics on the third computer, and then do the bonding on that
third computer, but that's a bit cumbersome and uses a lot of
electicity.
