Thanks folks. I have a FON router. I won't say it isn't worth what I paid
for it, but, it was free. Nuff said.
I'll look at the Belkin products and the DLink. I have a DLink as well at
home, and while it is too big for travel, it works well.

In case you are a biblical literalist or just have never experienced the
joy of a Belkin product, that last comment was dripping with sarcasm. I
have a D-Link DWL-G730AP that does the job quite well. It can act as a
bridged wireless AP, nat router or as a client bridge. It can be
powered by USB (via included cable) or via wall wart (also included). It
comes in a decent pseudo-pleather case as well. I've used mine on a
number of trips since I got it in March 06 and never had any issue with it.
