The guys over at PersonalTelco are putting together an advogato based node building portal. The site, adhoc.personaltelco.net creates an adhoc project forming framework that allows people to get skilled help in building their nodes. Unlike wikis or mailing lists, this is an attempt to create trust metrics rather than just providing forums.

Reputation systems are very interesting, especially when building networks that require a certain amount of trust and collaboration. I was lucky enough to sit around and chat with Adam Shand about it while we waited for our return flights from etech. The system is still in development, but it’s really worth taking a look to see what they’re up to.
