Looks like rob is stumped on the CRC bits. He’s put up a call for help and even mailed linksys. Anyone else out there with a bit of hex foo? Looks like the guys at wirelessnederland forums were the first to figure it out, but their explanation could use a little more translation

BTW, I’ve been offered a shell on a MIPS box (cobalt qube) to compile some binaries once we have this figured out, or (according to the .nl guys), we can do this all on a playstation2. I happen to have one of those… Do I need to modchip it for that? It sure would be interesting to have a custom WAP for $130 with a $150 development platform.
