| OK. So I just had a birthday, and again, my dad got me the “I know you don’t have one of these” gift. For those of you who can’t tell at first glance, it’s a set of Whopper Bio Domes and a Park’s Garden Condo. With this setup, I can grow 400 plants from seed. Included in the bonus seed packs are a bunch of houseplants as well as some sort of mutant corn. I can’t let an opportunity like this go to waste. I’m thinking flytraps, but if anyone has any suggestions, I’m totally open. I’ve got 400 little piles of dirt to seed. Yes, I’ll set up a webcam, and yes, I’ll hook you up with a plant. |

Monthly Archive for January, 2004
Well, after nearly 5 years at RealNetworks, I’m a free agent again. My team went from 9 people to 5 people, and I was on the short list. My @real.com address and phone number no longer work, so if you need to get in touch with me, drop me a mail for my new cel (for those that can remember, it’s actually my old #)
I’m looking forward to starting new projects and putting more time towards existing ones. 2004 should be a very interesting year.
- Thanks richard for the serial->usb adaptor.
- couldn’t do pxe install, and we didn’t have a linux box (apples everywhere), so we burned bootable business card linux (lnx-bbc) onto a cd, hijacked casey’s windows box, then:
cd /mnt/cf ; curl http://nycwireles.net/pebble/pebble.v39.tar.bz2 | bzcat | tar vxf -

Yes, there are google ads on seattlewireless.net.
FreeNetworks.org is having DNS problems, and since I’ve moved my galleries here already, I’m moving the blog. It’s probably better to have everything here on gir, it’s much more comfortable.
