For those of you that didn’t make it to HackNight this week, Rob has put his spectrum analyzer notes he took in Italy on his blog. Considering most of us don’t have access to high dollar test gear (and those that do rarely share), this is some great information to have out there.

Rob came back from Italy on Sunday, so we got a trip report and a sneak peek at some data collected. 15 days of lab time with a spectrum analyzer and gobs of gear. Fun stuff. Joe also showed up and started a lively discussion on virtualizing services using VMWare. I think it’s been a year since I’ve been in this discussion, and to be completely honest, I’m really glad I don’t have to run any large web services anymore.

On another note, It was Free Book Night! Everyone who showed up got a book forced on them (don’t you wish you showed up?). I have a few left, so if you want a Free Book!, drop me a note and I’ll kick one down.
